Color of Crohn’s and Chronic Illness (COCCI) continues to prioritize attendee health and safety as we host in-person events. By registering for a COCCI event, an attendee agrees to abide by the Health and Safety Protocols put in place for Equity in GI 2023, taking place July 6-8, 2023 in Atlanta, GA.

As a registrant of Equity in GI 2023, I will comply with the Health and Safety Guidelines and protocols put forth by COCCI and agree as follows:

• I am responsible for familiarizing myself and complying with COCCI’s Health and Safety Policy and protocols before and during the event.
• I understand that I must comply with COCCI’s vaccination requirements and I agree that, to the best of my knowledge, the vaccination record I present is my own and accurate.  Note: COCCI does not have access to your vaccination record nor does COCCI store or collect your health data.
• I will not attend Equity in GI 2023 if I have a COVID-19 diagnosis or if I experience the onset of any primary symptom of COVID-19 at the time of traveling to the event.
• If I experience any symptoms associated with COVID-19 during the event, then I will cease any in-person meetings/events related to Equity in GI 2023 and immediately seek appropriate medical care.
• If I test positive for COVID-19 at any point during Equity in GI 2023, then I will cease any in-person meetings/events related to the event. I will alert COCCI immediately through the instructions on the Health and Safety page (link to overall Health and Safety Guidelines page).  I agree to follow protocols for attendees who test positive for COVID-19.

At the discretion of COCCI, if any attendee disregards the event’s Health and Safety Policy and protocols, then they may be asked to leave the event property and/or offsite event property without refund.  COCCI reserves the authority to interpret and enforce the Health and Safety Policy and protocols. All matters not covered by the Health and Safety Policy and protocols are subject to interpretation at the discretion of COCCI.

COCCI is monitoring the current state of COVID-19 and will continue to update the Health and Safety Policy and protocols. Attendees will be notified of any further attendance requirements and changes as the event approaches.
